Spirited undergrads sought for Blue Hen Ambassadors

The Blue Hen Ambassadors- undergraduate students who assist the Office of Admissions with the student recruitment process by providing campus tours for University visitors-needs new members.

Potential Blue Hen Ambassadors should have pride in UD, good communication skills and be reliable and dependable. They must be able to work independently, have patience, tact, flexibility and diplomacy and a positive attitude and common sense.

Any full-time undergraduate student, not graduating before May 2000, is invited to apply to join the Blue Hen Ambassadors.

Applications are available at the Visitors Center (196 South College Ave.) or at the Office of Admissions (116 Hullihen Hall).

Completed applications are due in the Visitors Center by 5 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5.

University faculty and staff members are invited to nominate outstanding undergraduates. All nominees will receive an application packet and a letter inviting them to apply.

Nominations, including the student's name and address (if available), may be sent to Robert Snyder in the Admissions Office or via e-mail at <rsnyder@udel.edu>.
