Faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to join the University of Delaware Library Associates (UDLA). The library "friends group" is a nonprofit organization that provides support to the University of Delaware Library. Contributions work to expand and enrich the research collections of the library. All gifts are tax deductible. Securities and stocks may be contributed in lieu of a membership contribution.
Founded in 1958, UDLA works to expand library research resources through gifts from individual members, funds raised from programs and donations of significant books.
The group also sponsors publications and other activities that make the collections better known to the University and national scholarly communities and to members of the general public.
Annual dues begin at $25 or $5 for students. Information about membership is available via the web page at <http://www2.lib.udel. edu/udla> or call 831-2231.
