A grand opening was held Sept. 26 in the Trabant University Center to celebrate the newest branch of WSFS Financial Corp.
The UD location complements 19 existing Wilmington Savings Fund Society branch locations operating in the Delaware Valley.
Staff, students and parents joined WSFS President and CEO Marvin N. Schoenhals and UD President David Roselle at the ceremonial ribbon cutting, which also featured a visit by YoUDee and the UD cheerleaders, plus free cake and prizes.
The new UD branch is just one part of WSFS' new banking partnership with UD. Other benefits enjoyed by UD students include seven WSFS ATMs located on campus, an electronic transaction account with unlimited access via the WSFS ATM card, full-service checking at special student rates, an ATM card for debit purchases at participating locations both on- and off-campus and access to the largest retail ATM network in the state of Delaware.
