UD to host World Trade Org. listening session on July 23

Delaware is hosting one of 11 regional World Trade Organization (WTO) Listening Sessions being held this summer. The free public session is scheduled between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Friday, July 23, in Mitchell Hall. Sponsored by the U. S. Department of Agriculture and the Office of the U. S. Trade Representative, the WTO session is intended to give farmers, agricultural industry leaders and other individuals an opportunity to express their views and concerns on issues relating to U.S. trade policy.

Speakers should arrive at least one hour before the session begins to check in and to verify the order of topics to be discussed. There will be a time limit of three minutes for spoken comments.
