Deadline set for EZForms

A change in the way employees use EZForms is fast approaching. Effective July 30, users will no longer be able to access EZForms from within EMC2 or on the central UNIX servers. And, effective Aug. 15, users will no longer be able to approve EZForms using an e-mail application.

After these dates, employees will have to access and approve EZForms using the web. The web forms are more secure than their e-mail counterparts, and employees can still receive e-mail notification of EZForm activity.

However, the following exceptions exist:

Although EZForms have been able to be used on the web for some time, many employees may not be familiar with the web-based process.

There is still plenty of time to learn and get help.

A "Web EZForms" workshop, presented by representatives of campus processing offices, will be held 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Aug. 5, 120 Smith Hall. There is no need to register.

Before coming to the workshop, if users practice submitting and approving the forms on the web, they can then bring specific questions to the workshop.

The forms are available at <https://www.mvs.udel.edu/ ezforms/>.
