The Fightin' Blue Hens football team will open its 1999 home season with a 7 p.m. night game, Thursday, Sept. 2, against William and Mary.
Other home games include Saturday contests beginning at 1 p.m. against West Chester (WSFS Band Day), Sept. 18; Richmond (Parents Day), Oct. 2; Lehigh (Homecoming, Grotto Pizza Day), Oct. 16; Massachusetts (Youth Day), Oct. 23; and Rhode Island (Fan Appreciation Day), Nov. 13.
Away games, all on Saturdays, include Citadel, 7 p.m., Sept. 11; James Madison, 6 p.m., Sept. 25; Northeastern, 12:30 p.m., Oct. 30; New Hampshire, noon, Nov. 6; and Villanova, 1 p.m., Nov. 20.
