'Messenger' wins national honor

Cornelia Weil, public relations, and Lane McLaughlin, Information Technologies/media services, were awarded third place for The Messenger in the 1998 National Federation of Press Women Communication Contest in the magapaper/tabloid/nonprofit category, after winning first place in the Delaware Press Association awards competition. The Messenger, published quarterly, is distributed to donor alumni, friends and parents of current students, among others.
