The University is selling a 1994 Ford Crown Victoria, used by Public Safety. The car is in good condition, with approximately 76,000 miles.
The car is offered for sale "as-is, where-is" and with no expressed or implied warranty by the University. The buyer is responsible for any costs associated with the sale.
The car will be available for an on-site inspection from 10 a.m.-noon, Monday-Wednesday, June 14-16, at Transportation Services on Wyoming Road.
Sealed bids must be received by 2 p.m., Friday, June 18, in the Office of the Director of Purchasing, 222 South Chapel St., Newark, DE 19716. Bids begin at a minimum of $2,000.
The successful bidder must produce full payment of the bid amount, by certified check or cash, within seven business days after the award notification.
The car will not be released before full payment is received.
