Munroe Hall was honored for retention of a streetscape with a 1999 Historic Preservation Award from the Historic Review Board of New Castle County May 14. Also recognized at the seventh annual event was Bernard Herman, art history, for his coauthorship of the book, Everyday Architecture of the Mid Atlantic: Looking at Buildings and Landscapes.
