Training for EZForms
on web set for summer

EZForms--the secure electronic forms used to conduct University business--are moving from EMC2 and Copland to the University's web.

In conjunction with the conversion from EMC2 e-mail to browser-based e-mail clients, EZForms will be removed from the central servers sometime this summer. After that time, employees will be able to use most EZForms only on the web.

Journal vouchers, which are not currently available on the web, will be converted to web format. Alternative processes will be implemented for Start Notices and Central Stores Supply Requests.

Employees will be notified by e-mail when they have an EZForm awaiting their attention. But, they will process the form on the web. An easy link to EZForms is the "Forms" option in the "Resources" list on the "Staff" home page.

Those unfamiliar with EZForms on the web may attend a class, "Web EZForms Training," to learn how to use the web-based forms.

Each class will be held for a full day (morning and afternoon sessions) in 120 Smith Hall from 9 a.m.-noon and 1:30-4:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 15, and Thursday, Aug. 5.

After introductory comments, the following forms will be discussed in the morning session:
