Delaware Donor

I have been employed by the University for nine years. I am responsible for the scheduling and operation of the athletic facilities, as well as for safety issues.

"The reason I donate money to the University is because I have a daughter who is a junior at the University, and I have a son in high school who will be attending here. I realize that the benefit of out-of-state tuition remission for two children at the University is about $23,000. The least I can do is give a little of that back to the University.

"I have made a commitment for six years that I will give $1,000 each year, which makes me a Delaware Diamond. I don't even miss the money because it comes out in a small increment from each paycheck.

"My donation is designated for the Fred P. Rullo Stadium. It has been a dream of mine since I came to the University nine years ago to see the artificial turf stadium built. This dream is now a reality. The field hockey team is currently playing on this field, and we are applying to have the first and second rounds of the NCAA Field Hockey Championships

played on the new turf. The team may make the championships this year.

"There are also the perks of being a Delaware Diamond. There are special events held for us, and I really feel that the University appreciates everything you give. As long as I work at the University, I am going to support it."
