Adult counseling
Graduate students or returning adults may have to address such issues as stress, transition concerns, relationship issues and personal growth. A therapy group, specifically designed for older students, is available to help individuals explore these issues and discover new ways to relate to others.

The group will meet from 3:30-5 p.m., Tuesdays, starting in late September. For additional information, or an appointment with co-facilitators Leslie Connor and Jason Parcover, call 831-2141 or inquire in person at the Center for Counseling and Student Development, 261 Perkins Center (above the University Bookstore).

CSB Late Night
Late Night at Carpenter Sports Building, held each Saturday, provides students an opportunity to enjoy late-night sports games. Students may drop in and play at their leisure or take part in the team programs that are offered from time to time.

The events begin from 8 p.m.-1 a.m., and will continue on Saturday evenings throughout the school year. Student groups interested in sponsoring a program should call 831-6712.

Wellness screening
The Employee Wellness Center is offering cholesterol screening from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22, and Thursday, Sept. 24, in the Employee Wellness Center, Room 112 Carpenter Sports Building. The screening involves a fingerstick, and results are available in 5 minutes. In addition to total cholesterol, a reading for HDL (good cholesterol) will be made. Cost is $10 Wellness Dollars plus a $5 cash co-pay.

Call 831-8388 to schedule a 10-minute appointment.

Public skating
Public skating sessions in the Fred Rust Ice Arena are held from 8-10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays and from 1-3 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $5 a person, or $4 each for groups of 10 or more. Skate rental is $2 and UD students may enter free with a valid UD ID.

For $40, customers may purchase a preferred skater card, which allows skaters into any 10 public sessions throughout the year. This is a $10 savings off the regular admission price.

A wide range of skating classes for people at any stage of life and any aptitude are available this fall in the Fred Rust Ice Arena. These include beginning classes, designed for persons ages 3 to adult with little to no ice skating experience, more advanced in the Basic Badge Program, freestyle and ice dance classes, plus beginning ballet classes, off-ice dance classes and opportunities for precision skating, instructional hockey and competitive hockey leagues.
