The Professional Advisory Council (PAC) is holding elections this spring in odd numbered districts. Nomination letters have been distributed and must be returned by April 30 to Alba Bates, Employee Training and Career Development.
Ballots will be distributed by May 4 and must be returned by May 14. The newly elected representatives will be announced in the May 20 issue of UpDate and begin their terms July 1.
PAC representation assures that University professionals have a strong voice about issues affecting their representative constituent groups, according to Maxine Colm, administration.
"We encourage professional staff members to nominate colleagues who represent the diversity of professionals throughout the colleges and administrative units and who will represent the concerns of their colleagues," Richie Holland, employee training, said.
The PAC election is coordinated by the Office of Employee Training and Career Development.
