The camp teaches fundamental basketball skills to each girl through individual

The Solve It Problem Solving Program
Students entering grades 4-8 in September will have the opportunity to
work on interesting and challenging math problems sent to them in the mail.
Students who complete the program get a summary of their progress, a certificate
of recognition and a Solve It pin.

Camp for Kids: Diabetes and You
For children or the siblings of children with diabetes. The camp helps
them understand and cope with the disease and teaches them the skills they
need to manage their insulin dependence.

FAME/UNITE/MERIT
UD Summer Camp
To increase participation of African-American, Hispanic/Latino and
Native American youth in engineering and other science professions. Students
must be enrolled in a college preparatory curriculum with grades of B or
better in math, science and English courses.
Dates: June 20-July 24 (five weeks, home on weekends)
Who can attend: Rising 11th and 12th graders

Upward Bound Math/Science Initiative
This six-week summer residential program and monthly workshops during
the academic year are designed to serve 40 eligible high school students
who attend schools in Delaware and contiguous counties in Maryland and
Pennsylvania. The summer program includes six weeks of intensive math,
science and English coursework and nightly study sessions with college-student
tutors.

New Arc Academy
The theme for the academyís sixth year is using physical, biological
and information systems to solve problems. Students in grades 4 through
7 will explore microscopic and macroscopic habitats, assemble and program
robots, use the Internet as a research tool and create and publish a web
page.
