University of Delaware Girls' Basketball Camp

The camp teaches fundamental basketball skills to each girl through individual instruction.

Mike Brey Basketball School at the University of Delaware

Tubby Raymond's Fightin' Blue Hens Football Camp

Limited contact while teaching all football skills and techniques.

University of Delaware Lacrosse Day Camp for Girls

Girls of all ages and skill levels will be taught lacrosse skills, including attack, defense and goal keeping.

Blue Hen Soccer Camp at the University of Delaware

Boys and girls are grouped by age and skill level, taught basic soccer skills and strategy then test their skills in games.

Teaches mechanically sound tennis strokes and strategy while having fun.

An overnight camp for serious field hockey players interested in improving their skills in all aspects of the game. Some of the top college coaches in the country will be teaching.

Daily classes for the family consisting of singing, movement, listening and simple instrument playing.

The Solve It Problem Solving Program

Students entering grades 4-8 in September will have the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging math problems sent to them in the mail. Students who complete the program get a summary of their progress, a certificate of recognition and a Solve It pin.

Camp for Kids: Diabetes and You

For children or the siblings of children with diabetes. The camp helps them understand and cope with the disease and teaches them the skills they need to manage their insulin dependence.

Summer College

Students get a taste of college life. They live on campus, take college freshman-level courses for college credit, and participate in academic and social programs.

Who can attend: Academically advanced high school juniors who will be seniors in the fall.

Cost: In-state, $1,300; out-of-state, $2,850 (with a $15 application fee). Limited financial aid is available.

UD Summer Camp


To increase participation of African-American, Hispanic/Latino and Native American youth in engineering and other science professions. Students must be enrolled in a college preparatory curriculum with grades of B or better in math, science and English courses.

Upward Bound Math/Science Initiative


This six-week summer residential program and monthly workshops during the academic year are designed to serve 40 eligible high school students who attend schools in Delaware and contiguous counties in Maryland and Pennsylvania. The summer program includes six weeks of intensive math, science and English coursework and nightly study sessions with college-student tutors.

New Arc Academy

The theme for the academyís sixth year is using physical, biological and information systems to solve problems. Students in grades 4 through 7 will explore microscopic and macroscopic habitats, assemble and program robots, use the Internet as a research tool and create and publish a web page.
