Yes, this week's UpDate has a new and different look! Executive Editor John Brennan said UpDate's debut today comes after months of planning to provide enhanced service to the campus community.
Reorganization of the publication was done to present information on important campus news and events, as well as student, faculty and staff achievements, in a format that is attractive, easy to read and easy to navigate, Brennan said.
A special center section, "What's Happening," features the most complete campus calendar available for the week ahead, he said. This section also includes features and news articles on upcoming events of note.
Adding to UpDate's visual appeal is new, regular use of highlight color.
Designer is Molly Chappell, visual media design/media services/Information Technologies.
