- #99P086 Associate Director (Level 16), Information Technologies- Network and Systems Services-Seeking a highly motivated manager responsible for the telecommunications and computing operational activities. The telecommunications environment is based on Centrex service provided by Bell Atlantic on a Northern Telecom DMS-100 switch. REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree with five years' related experience or a bachelor's degree with 10 years' related experience or equivalent educational background and experience. A degree in computer science or electrical engineering is desirable. Experience in a management capacity is required with a strong background in hardware/software related to data, voice/video networking and computing. Experience in the support of computing and networking technologies also required. DUTIES: Provide internal billing for basic telephone/long distance services. Installation of a telecommunications management computer system will be a first priority for the new associate director. The computer operations and production control groups manage all central computing facilities and the operation of production administrative systems on those computers respectively. Computer facilities include an IBM 9672-R42 running OS/390 V1R3, several Sun Microsystems SPARCserver 4000's, an SGI Power Challenge System, a Cray J-90 System, an IBM RS/6000 model 980, a Boston Technology Access/NP voice messaging system, a Perception Technology interactive voice-response system, an AT&T Campuswide "Optim" debit card system and various other UNIX-based computer systems.
