Glaucoma screening will be offered from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22, in Room 206 Trabant University Center.
Employees are invited to be tested for this condition that affects 67 million people worldwide, has few symptoms and results in loss of vision.
Using the latest technology, Delaware Eye Surgeons will provide glaucoma screening using the GDx Nerve FiberAnalyzer. This test is painless and requires no pupil dilation or eye drops. Results are available immediately. Cost is $5 Wellness Dollars for the 10-minute appointment.

A presentation on Medical Self-Care for Kids will be offered from noon-1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 28, in Room 231 MBNA America Hall.
Dr. Jamie McElrath, a pediatrician with Pediatric Associates P.A., will present information on a number of topics, including immunizations and common childhood illnesses. Information also will be provided on getting the most out of the relationship with your child's health-care provider. Employees with children will benefit from this presentation. Cost is $10 Wellness Dollars.
