Use Voice mail's long-absence option
With the upcoming end-of-the-year holiday season, employees should change individual voice mail greeting messages to reflect when they will be away from the office and when the University is closed.
Now availalbe is the Extended-Absence Option, which enables users to add a greeting for long-term absences and not have to record over their current "no answer" greeting.
To utilize this feature:
- Enter your mailbox and from the main menu, press 9.
- For greetings and name announcement, press 1.
- For extended-absence greeting, press 4.
