Dance team takes 1st place

The UD Ballroom Dance Team took first place and a large trophy in the team match in International Style Dancing when it competed at the Ohio Star Ball in the Collegiate Competition Nov. 21 in Columbus.

The eight members of the UD team competed against teams from Albany Law School, American, Arizona State, Carnegie-Mellon, Binghamton, Catholic, Columbia, Duke, Purdue, Harvard and Yale universities.

The next series of dance classes sessions, with a special swing instruction-begins in early January and runs for 10 weeks.
