Children's books A Book Fair will be held Monday-Friday, Dec. 7-11, in the Education Resource Center, Room 012 Willard Hall. There will be new children's and young adult books, as well as some teacher resource books, all for sale at 10 percent off the list price. The selection represents many of the best authors and illustrators, and includes classics as well as recent publications.The fair will be open from 2-8:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 7; 8:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday, Dec. 8-10; and 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday, Dec. 11.

Intramural sign up The registration period for Winter Session intramural sports will be from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, Dec. 7-11, in Room 102 Carpenter Sports Building. Students may sign up to play basketball, volleyball and racquetball.For information, call 831-4267.
Gospel show A Gospel Show will be presented at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Howard High School of Technology, 401 East 12th St. in Wilmington. Performances are scheduled by The Chosen, The Jones Family and Kevin Pringle and the Children of Israel. The Cab Calloway School Gospel Ensemble also will be featured.Proceeds will help the Food and Toy Drive for Christmas, the National Food Bank and local charitable efforts.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 5-12 and free for children 4 and under.

E-Mail Express The University Library has installed five "E-Mail Express" workstations in the Information Room of the Morris Library. The sites are located on the stand-up tables at the north end of the Information Room, in front of the blue British Museum catalog.The PCs were installed to allow students to check their e-mail quickly while in the Morris Library and are not intended for use over an extended period of time.
Interfaith ceremony The annual Interfaith Celebration of Lights will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 9, in Multipurpose Room A of the Trabant University Center. This gathering has become a tradition where the religious and cultural traditions of Judaism, Islam, Baha'i, Christianity, Hinduism and the Kwanzaa are celebrated.Sponsored by the Religious and Spiritual Life Concerns Caucus of the President's Commission to Promote Racial and Cultural Diversity, the event is open to the public.

Dance programs The Dark Arts Dance Company will present two free public dance programs showcasing many dance forms at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, and at noon, Saturday, Dec. 5, in the auditorium of Pearson Hall.The program includes African, modern and jazz dance as well as ballet and lyrical dance.
