Memorial service for former dean

A memorial service will be held to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Edith H. Anderson, dean emeritus of the College of Nursing-which became part of the College of Health and Nursing Sciences-at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, in the Trabant University Center Theatre.

Faculty, staff, students and all members of the University community are invited to attend the ceremony. A reception will follow the service. An education scholarship has been established in Dr. Anderson's memory to expand graduate nursing opportunities within the Department of Nursing.

Dr. Anderson, who served as dean of the College of Nursing from 1976-1991, died in June.
