Giving thanks An interfaith Thanksgiving service will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23, in the Gallery of the Perkins Student Center.The free, public service will offer participants an opportunity to share the diverse ways in which individuals of various cultures and faiths offer thanks. Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Baha'i, Native American and Korean groups will be represented. The event is sponsored by the University Religious Leaders' Organization and the Religious and Spiritual Life Concerns Caucus of the Commission to Promote Racial and Cultural Diversity.

Library hours Hours have been set for all University libraries during Thanksgiving recess, from Nov. 25-29.The Morris Library and Agriculture Library Collection hours are 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25; closed, Thursday-Saturday Nov. 26-28; and open from 2 p.m.-midnight, Sunday, Nov. 29. Special Collections and the Exhibition Gallery will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25; and closed from Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 26-29.
The Chemistry Library will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25; closed from Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 26-28; and open from 6-10 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 29.
The Physics Library and Marine Studies Library will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25; and closed from Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 26-29.
FBI speaker Former FBI Agent Jim Fisher will present "Nothing But the Truth: Bill Clinton Under Oath" from 2:30-3:20 p.m. and again from 3:35 to 4:25 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, in Room 100 Kirkbride Hall.During the free, public program, Fisher will talk about President Clinton's unspoken testimony--the evidence offered by body language.

Rotary forming A new Rotary Club is being organized near the Newark campus and interested members of the University community are invited to learn more about this service organization for men and women.The Newark Morning Rotary Club will meet from 7-8:15 a.m., Thursdays, in the Blue and Gold Club. The first gathering will be Dec. 3, and interested persons are invited to attend.
The 59-year-old Newark Rotary Club is sponsoring the new downtown club. Rotary is an international organization committed to service at various levels. Members of local clubs are community, business and professional leaders.

Parking hours Hours during the Thanksgiving holiday for campus parking lots are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Wednesday Nov. 25, in the Russell and Visitors Center lots and 5:30 a.m.-8 p.m. in the Main Street Parking Garage.All lots will be closed from Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 26-28. On Sunday, Nov. 29, only the Main Street Parking Garage will be open, from 7 a.m.-1:30 a.m.
All lots will reopen for normal operation on Monday, Nov. 30.
Baha'i awareness On Wednesday, Dec. 1, the University Baha'i Club will host a public meeting at 12:30 p.m. in Room 209 Trabant University Center to discuss the UD community's response to the recent closing of the Baha'i University in Iran. The Baha'i Institute of Higher Education (BIHE), also known as the Open University, was founded in response to the Iranian government's policy of prohibiting members of the Baha'i faith, Iran's largest religious minority, from attending any Iranian universities.At the meeting, organizers will discuss the UD community's participation in an international letter-writing campaign to protest the violation of the universally recognized right to education.

Fall concert The University of Delaware Gospel Choir will present its annual free, public fall concert at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 22, in Pearson Hall auditorium. The Praise Steppers and The Anointed and Appointed Dancers also will perform.For information, call 837-6376.
Extra ice hours The ice arena will be open extra hours during the Thanksgiving holiday. Special public skating sessions have been added from 6:50-8:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25; and from 1-3 p.m., Friday, Nov. 27.Regular public skating sessions will continue as usual from 8-10 p.m., Friday, Nov. 27; from 1-3 p.m. and 8-10 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28; and from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 29.
Admission for all ages is $5 per person, with skate rentals available at an additional $2
