Deadlines are approaching to apply for matching funds for the Student Travel Award, the Special Travel Award (for faculty and professional staff) and the Visiting Women Scholars Fund.
The travel awards require a department to match the amount and are available to women or men whose research involves women's issues. The awards are given to support travel to present scholarly papers or to participate in panel discussions at a conference or comparable activity. Deadline for applications is Nov. 1.
The Visiting Women Scholars Fund is a matching fund designed to assist departments in bringing women scholars to campus. There is a flexible deadline for the Visiting Women Scholars Fund, and each application will be evaluated when it is received.
