Joining residence life

Three new assistant area coordinators and a new area coordinator joined the Office of Residence Life staff late last summer in time for the fall semester.

From left are Holli Harvey, assistant area coordinator, Gilbert and Harrington Complex, who served as a resident hall director in the Harrington Complex; Karen Wolfe, assistant area coordinator for the Dickinson Complex, who was hall director at Christiana Towers; James Tweedy, area coordinator for Laird Campus, who was a residence life assistant director at Montana State University; and Julie Boswell, assistant area coordinator, Russell Complex, who worked as a student life coordinator at Wesley College.

All have master's degrees in college student personnel, counseling or a related discipline, as well as experience as a residence life professional.

Assistant area coordinators and area coordinators live on campus, interact with students, supervise staff, organize educational programs, manage student crises and train student leaders. At UD, they are responsible for a group of residence halls that house between 700-2,100 students.
