Host Tim Beggy travels to different colleges each week where he profiles various stories that are unique in college football. Beggy, along with a director, camera person and sound person,visited Delaware Oct. 8 and interviewed head football coach Tubby Raymond about his hobby of painting a portrait of a different Delaware football senior each week during the season-something he has been doing for years.
He also interviewed Delaware place kicker Sean Leach, whose parents fly in from California for each game, and took some action shots of YoUDee as well as the Blue Hen Cheerleaders.
Players Brian Smith and Dorrell Green discussed the paintings that Raymond drew of them.
While on campus, Beggy gave at talk at the Trabant University Center.
The Slant will air the UD feature on Comcast SportsNet (Channel 42 on Suburban Cable) at 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28; at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 29; and at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30.
