Approximately 125 employees attended the United Way kickoff reception Oct. 13 in the Bob Carpenter Center. At the event, Lance L. Weaver (above), chief administrative officer of MBNA and this year's United Way chairperson, and President David Roselle presented remarks. Also, four UD employees-Kathie Robinson, Personnel Records Office; Constance Weber, entomology and applied ecology; Kathleen Bieker, Parallel Program, Dover; and Ronald Lemoncelli, Parallel Program, Georgetown-were winners of a raffle for this year's campus solicitors. They will attend a football game and lunch hosted by the president.
