Residing as I do in a highly research oriented department, my most satisfying experience associated with teaching has been the encouragement over the past 20 years of my efforts at innovation and excellence in the classroom by numerous students and faculty in the Honors Program.
"There have been far too many individuals to list, but I am particularly indebted to Prof. Don Harward, Burnaby Munson and Robert Brown. Their support and inspiration, both as colleagues and in their role as directors of the program, have been a critical development of my growth as a teacher."
