Counting Crows in BCC Nov. 2

Counting Crows will appear at the Bob Carpenter Center on Sunday, Nov. 2, and tickets go on sale this Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Trabant University Center box office and through Ticketmaster.

Tickets will not be on sale at the Bob Carpenter Center box office Saturday because of the football game that day. Tickets will be on sale at both locations starting Monday.

A limited number of tickets will be available for $18.50 to UD students with ID (limit four per ID). These student tickets will be distributed only at UD box offices.

All other tickets for the Counting Crows show will be $23, and when the special student allotment is gone, that price will apply to UD students as well.

The band's debut album, August and Everything After, was released in 1993 and called "one of the best rock releases of the year" by a critic in Rolling Stone. On the Billboard 200 album chart for 93 weeks, the album was certified six-time platinum in 1996. After touring the United States and Europe, including performances with the Rolling Stones, the group released its second recording, Recovering the Satellites, a year ago.
