Christy Hughes (left), International Programs and Special Sessions, talks to students about study abroad programs at far away places at the Commuter Off-Campus Forum and Exhibition, held Sept. 24 in the Trabant University Center. Off-campus students were invited to learn about University services and departments, student organizations and activities, parking and transportation, recreational opportunities and campus life at the event. Refreshments were served, and prizes were awarded.
Joe Sweeney won a free week of parking in the University Main Street garage, donated by Public Safety; Mark Mathre won a commuter meal plan worth $704 from Dining Services; and Pat Rhoades won two Amtrak tickets, donated by University Travel Services.
The event was sponsored by Activities and Programs and Commuter and Off-Campus Organization (COCO), in cooperation with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation project.
