Ready for 2000?

Are your computer and data files ready for the year 2000? Will your applications be able to tell the difference between 1900 and 2000 when the date changes from 1999 to 2000?

Visit "Y2K Information at the University of Delaware" at http://www.udel.edu/thud/y2k for more information. Employees can find information about testing a desktop system for compliance. There also is an introduction to help check data files and programs.

There also is detailed information about examining data and programs used on the central UNIX systems.

The University is committed to entering 1999 fully compliant with the Year 2000 changeover. To assess Y2K compliance, contact the IT Help Center (831-6000 or consult@udel.edu) to register a request for help.
