According to James Broomall, continuing education and campus coordinator of the school, 128 outstanding high school students from throughout the state participated in the program.
The participants, who will begin their junior year this fall, were nominated by their principals or guidance counselors.
Students were divided into four areas of concentration-academic, music, visual arts and drama-and received instruction in small master classes and went on day trips connected with their respective fields.
There also were group activities, such as the World Game based on international issues, and educational and fun activities in the evenings, such as a storytelling program, an African music group performance and a karaoke party.
