Summer training workshops scheduled

A number of summer workshops providing important administrative procedures are being sponsored by the Office of Employee Training and Career Development.

Interested employees should register early for these summer sessions.

WEB EZ Forms Training

Web-based transactions are far more efficient than paper transactions, provided users know where to find web forms and how to use them. Make the leap away from paper! Attend this workshop and learn how to conduct routine campus business on the web using five of the most popular web EZ Forms.

This session will provide an overview of features common to all EZ Forms, and department experts will guide participants through the specifics of using these forms easily.

Two classes are being cosponsored with the Office of Project Management/Office of the Vice Provost for Research. Both classes are scheduled on two separate days in the Pearson Hall Computer Training Center.

Project Management Decentralization

This program is designed to provide faculty, staff and administrators with an overview of how project management's decentralization will affect sponsored research projects. This workshop will include a brief history of decentralization and will demonstrate available web support documentation to assist with managing sponsored accounts.

Budget Revision

Designed to provide administrators with a hands-on approach to rebudgeting sponsored accounts, this workshop will demonstrate not only how to use the new online budget revision program but explain the process for deciding what budget revisions are appropriate in keeping with the sponsor's and the University's policies. This program is open to individuals who are authorized to process budget revisions on sponsored accounts.
