The 1997 University of Delaware Football Media Guide has been named the top NCAA I-AA media publication in the country by judges from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The 128-page media guide, which includes information about the Delaware team, opponents and school history, was selected as the top publication of its type in the nation from 30 entries.
The guide, edited by sports information director Scott Selheimer and interns Andy Wolff and Jim Miller, earned top six national honors from CoSIDA for the 12th time since 1976 and earned "Best in the Nation" honors for the fourth time and for the first time since 1990.
The 1998 football guide will be published in mid-August.
