long jump competition during the 1998 Delaware Special Olympics Summer Games, held June 12-13 on campus.
This year, the annual celebration attracted more than 650 athletes, 250 coaches and 2,000 volunteers.
The University also hosts the annual Special Olympics Basketball Tournament each spring.
