Diabetes walk Walkers for a good cause should mark Sunday, Sept. 27, on their calendars. That's when the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation's Walk to Cure Diabetes will be held at Tower Hill School in Wilmington. Registration is from 8:30-9:30 a.m. when the 3- and/or 5-mile walk begins.Last year, more than 1,800 people participated in the walk, raising over $200,000 for diabetes research. This year's goal is 2,500 walkers and $250,000.

Library hours Morris Library summer session hours through Aug. 14 are 8 a.m.-9 p.m., Mondays-Thursdays; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fridays; and 1-5 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays. The library will be closed Friday and Saturday, July 3-4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.Hours during Delaware Discovery Days are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, July 11; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays, July 18 and 25.
Special Collections and Exhibition Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Wednesdays and Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesdays.
Box office info The Trabant Box Office is closed for the summer and will reopen on Monday, Aug. 31. The Bob Carpenter Center box office will remain open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Mondays-Fridays, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturdays.
Wellness test Wellness is more than just controlling your blood pressure and/or exercising. Other components of wellness include physical, social, occupational, intellectual, emotional and spiritual aspects. As a first step toward total wellness, employees can find out how they rate in all of these dimensions by completing a wellness assessment.This written set of questions covers everything from physical health to occupational wellness, and each participant will receive a printout of confidential results, providing scores in 10 related categories.
Cost is $5 Wellness Dollars.
