Fiscal year-end closing procedures

Each year, General Accounting provides account administrators year-end closing procedures. This year, information is provided on the General Accounting home page, which includes the year-end closing procedures along with other useful information such as the transaction code and object code listings.

The General Accounting home page can be found under "OFFICES AND SERVICES", "MORE" on the University's home page. There is a link for year-end procedures (closing procedures). The information can be printed via Netscape by clicking on "file" and then "print."

Anyone without access to the University's home page can receive a paper copy of the year-end closing procedures by calling 831-2175.

Readers are asked to share a copy of this information with all unit personnel responsible for carrying out the year-end closing procedures.
