Health-care series "The Cost of Healing," a new series exploring health care in Delaware, will air during WHYY-TV's daily news program, 12 Tonight, at 5:30 p.m., Wednesdays, through the end of June.

Joseph A. Lieberman III, who chairs the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Christiana Care Health System, will host the series.

The next issue of UpDate will be published June 11, and biweekly publication will continue through Sept. 3, when the weekly fall schedule will resume. Information for publication is due in the Office of Public Relations at 4 p.m., Thursday, one week before publication.

Summer softball Registration for the Intramural Softball League is being accepted at the Intramural Programs Office, Room 102 Carpenter Sports Building, or the cashier's window in the lobby, through June 4. Play will begin the week of June 8 and continue through July. Men's, women's and coed teams are welcome.

Games will be played Monday-Thursday evenings on Frazer Field. Call 831-4267 for information.

Bike safety rodeo A bicycle safety day will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Sunday, June 7, at Delcastle Recreation Center. The program is presented to teach children and adults the importance of bicycle safety, including the use of helmets, bike maintenance and road rules. Bike registration and licensing also will be available.

Wellness survey Information from the more than 800 employees who completed the Wellness Needs Assessment Survey will be used to help develop Employee Wellness Center programs for the 1998-99 year. Wellness programming also will be offered throughout the summer.
