Timothy Murray, special collections, assisted curators of the New York Public Library with their current exhibition, A Secret Location on the Lower East Side: Adventures in Writing, 1960-1980.
The exhibition celebrates 20 years of writing and publishing in the United States and includes works from an array of little magazines, such as The Black Mountain Review, Yugen, The Paris Review and Caterpillar, as well as presses such as the Jargon Society, Totem Press, City Lights and New Directions.
The exhibition is on view through July 25 in the Center for the Humanities, Room 218, New York Public Library on 42nd Street.
