Language instruction available

A Faculty Language Program, sponsored by Office of International Programs and Special Session in conjunction with the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, will be offered during the fall semester with courses beginning the week of Sept. 22 and continuing through the week of Dec. 5.

The courses offer an opportunity to begin or advance language skills and are non-credit, free and open to University faculty, professionals, staff and their spouses. All classes will be held from 5-8 p.m.

French I will be taught by Isabelle de Miollis, Wednesdays, in 201 Smith Hall.

French Intermediate II will be taught by Lysett Hall, Tuesdays, in 325 Purnell Hall.

German I will be taught by Beatrix Tannian, Tuesdays, in 236 Purnell Hall.

Italian I will be taught by Laura Salsini, Tuesdays, in 210 Ewing Hall.

Spanish I will be taught by Sara Asvat-Islam, Tuesdays, in 229 Purnell Hall.

Spanish III will be taught by Amalia Veitia, Tuesdays, in 233B Purnell Hall.

Class size is limited to 20 people; registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
