The award, established by the Commission on the Status of Women, recognizes President Emeritus E. Arthur Trabant's support of women's issues at the University and, each year, honors individual employees or administrative units that have contributed to equity for women at UD.
Nominations will be accepted from any member of the University community. Self-nominations must be accompanied by at least one supporting letter from outside the unit.
Preferences will be given to individuals and groups that have gone beyond the basic requirements of their jobs in improving conditions for women at UD.
Selections will be made by a committee appointed by the Commission on the Status of Women. Awards will be announced on April 24 and presented at a ceremony on May 18.
