On Saturday morning, March 21, a group of about 130 freshman and sophomore minority students met at Purnell Hall for a trip to the DuPont Experimental Station in Wilmington. The daylong program-"Going Beyond the Nine to Five: Personal and Corporate Commitment"-provided students an opportunity to interact with corporate professionals and visit a business setting. This 13th annual Minority Career Development Program was sponsored by the DuPont Co. and coordinated by UD's Career Services Center. Representatives from the center and several academic colleges also participated.
