It was fun and games for everyone when students from Dickinson C/D, accompanied by some members of the residence life staff, visited the Clarence Fraim Boys and Girls Club in Wilmington on Saturday, Feb. 28.
Shown above, freshman Trisha Horvath (right) helps Julie Maxey with an art project. Other students played energetic games of soccer, kickball, pingpong and pool or helped out in the learning center and the arts and crafts room.
According to Rob Longwell-Grice, all 32 residence hall student governments are matched to nonprofit organizations as part of residence life's volunteer efforts. Students living in each residence hall volunteer with such groups as AIDS Delaware, the Ronald McDonald House, the Delaware Food Bank, Girls Inc., Habitat for Humanity and other service organizations.
