Ice Hockey Club earns berth in ACHA National Tournament

The University of Delaware Ice Hockey Club has earned a bid to the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) National Tournament, held March 4-7 and hosted by Iowa State University in Ames.

This is Delaware's third consecutive bid to the tournament, where the team finished sixth last year. This year, Delaware was ranked seventh in ACHA national coaches' poll. The team will play Ohio University on Wednesday, March 4, the University of Michigan at Dearborn on Thursday, March 5, and the University of Illinois on Friday, March 6. A consolation game and championship game are scheduled on Saturday, March 7.
