The University of Delaware football team will host an opening-round home game Saturday, Nov. 29, in Delaware Stadium for the NCAA Division IAA playoffs. The Blue Hens' opponent will be announced Sunday, Nov. 23, along with the 16-team field and first-round matchups.
Season ticketholders will be able to purchase tickets by calling 831-2257 or by stopping by the Delaware Field House from 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 21, Monday, Nov. 24, and Tuesday, Nov. 25, to guarantee the purchase of their season tickets and any other ticket needs for Saturday.
All other fans can purchase tickets at the Bob Carpenter Center
or Trabant University Center box offices from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21 through Friday, Nov. 28. The Bob Carpenter Center and Trabant University Center box offices will be closed Nov. 27, Thanksgiving. The season ticket office in Delaware Field House will be open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday Nov. 28, to sell tickets for all fans.
Fans also can purchase tickets by phone through Ticketmaster at (302) 984-2000.
The No. 3-ranked Blue Hens have a 10-1 record, losing only to No. 1-ranked Villanova University.
