Student poster wins national honor

The UD Student Center Programs Advisory Board (SCPAB) won third place in the category of "student originated/nonposter" publicity for its flier for "An Evening with Langston and Martin" from the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA).

The graphic arts competition award was accepted by SCPAB president Chessil Shovlin and adviser Scott Mason, student center, at the NACA's October East Coast Regional Conference held in Syracuse.

The flier was designed by Zanetta Norris, AS '97, for a program last February that featured Danny Glover portraying Langston Hughes and Felix Justice playing Martin Luther King Jr.
