HTAC to present musical 'Grease' in Pearson Hall

Harrington Theater Arts Company (HTAC) will present the popular musical, Grease, from Nov. 14-16 and Nov. 20-22 in the auditorium of Pearson Hall.

Performances are scheduled at 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 14, Saturday, Nov. 15, Thursday, Nov. 20, Friday, Nov. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 22. Matinees are scheduled at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 16, and Saturday, Nov. 22. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for the general public.

Written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, Grease is a musical about teenage life in the late 1950s. It includes such well-known songs as "You're the One That I Love," "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightning," "We Go Together" and many more.

The show is directed by Benjamin Cohen and Stephen Toth, with choreography by Melissa Kaban and musical direction by Gillian Steinberg.

HTAC is a student-run theater group that has been bringing shows to the UD campus for 25 years. Other recent productions include Hair, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
