Stand-up commedian Wendi Fox and her Alcoholic Insanity Tour will be featured in a free program at 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5, in the Multipurpose Room of the Trabant University Center.
She will share her thoughts, experiences and personal opinions on what it's like to be raised in an alcohol environment. Her act is designed to improve awareness of the correlation between low self-esteem and alcohol abuse in today's society. For the last six years, she has been touring the country, helping people transform guilt, shame and confusion into a learning experience.
In her act, Fox publically identifies the problems associated with alcohol, and she offers ideas on how to correct them, so that the next generation will be less likely to carry on the legacy of alcohol abuse.
