Indigo Girls return

The Grammy Award-winning Indigo Girls will return to the Bob Carpenter Center with a concert on Friday, Oct. 24. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 5, at the box offices in the Bob Carpenter Center and the Trabant University Center. A limited number of student tickets will be available for $18.50 with UD ID, and all other tickets will be $22.50. The Indigo Girls are Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, and they have been singing together since they were in high school. Their latest release is Shaming of the Sun, which features 12 original songs, including "Shame on You," "Get Out the Map," "Shed Your Skin" and "Don't Give That Girl a Gun." They previously performed at the Bob Carpenter Center in May 1993.
