Del 'Arte winds in concert Nov. 7

     The Del 'Arte Wind Quintet will present a free public
concert at 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Loudis Recital Hall
of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building.
     The program will feature Eight Russian Folk Songs by Anatoly
Liadove; Quintet to the Memory of Prokofiev by Geoffrey Bush;
Quintette by Jean Francaix; and the premiere of a new piece by
Ingrid Arauco entitled Prologue for Woodwind Quintet and Piano.
The composer is a Delawarean who, last year, won an Individual
Artist Fellowship in composition from the Delaware State Arts
Council.
     Members of the quintet include Eileen Grycky, flute; Lloyd
Shorter, oboe; Charles Salinger, clarinet; Jon Gaarder, bassoon;
and Cynthia Carr, horn. Pianist for the concert will be Julie
Nishimura.
