Recognizing RA contributions

An appreciation week for RAs was from Oct. 14-20 to honor
the 180 resident assistants across campus for their contributions
to the University. The RAs were honored by brunches given in each
residence hall area.
In a proclamation Roland Smith, student life, saluted the
RAs, saying they have an "important and demanding role in the
life of the University- important, because you do much more than
assist, and demanding, because you must educate your fellow
students." He called the RAs the "heart of the residence life
program."
